**About our team**
Alfred Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS) is friendly to infants, children, young people and their families/carers.
We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks.
We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers.
Our service is divided into two streams 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support.

**What you'll be doing**
- Provide nutritional support, education and consultation to families, parents and young people with an eating disorder who are accessing treatment at ICYAMHWS through clinic-based treatment and the in home intensive early engagement program for eating disorders
- Provide education and consultation to other clinicians and teams
- The Dietitian will be part of an interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Eating Disorders Team Leader.
- Care will involve the young person, their family, and support networks, combining lived experience and clinical staff.
- The position is funded until June 30, 2027, based in Moorabbin, with potential for extension.
**About you**
- Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics acceptable for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia - Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status or working towards same
- Experience working as a dietitian in a community mental health setting
- Experience and knowledge of eating disorders
- Experience in dialogical practice is desirable
