Child and Family Health Nurse
to deliver culturally sensitive, community-based care to Aboriginal children (0–6 years) and their families across the Albury Wodonga region. Join a multidisciplinary Maternal Health team committed to providing first-class, holistic health care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver universal and sustained home visiting programs to families with newborns
Conduct health surveillance and screening for children aged 0–6
Support parenting through education, counselling, and group sessions
Promote early intervention and health promotion
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver integrated care
Participate in immunisation programs
Advocate for culturally safe healthcare practices and environments
What You'll Bring
Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health Nursing (or equivalent)
Desirable: Midwifery registration and postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health
Experience working with Aboriginal communities and a commitment to community development
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
Current driver's licence and clearances (WWCC, Police Check)
