Job Summary Teaching‑focused role with strong student engagement. Experience teaching across Australian curriculum is required. Full‑time appointment on a fixed term basis for 18 months. Base salary range: Level A, $83,499 – $112,371 p.a. (pro‑rata) plus 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities
Develop expertise in teaching in the area of Primary teacher education with an increasing degree of autonomy.
Support student learning, mentor students on professional experience placements, and offer advice and guidance to students to ensure success.
Undertake teaching and assessment in relevant units, contribute to assessment and assessment practices, and Scholarship of Learning and Teaching activities.
Qualifications
A completed Master of Education degree, or higher and/or willingness to undertake study towards a doctorate in education.
Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and engaging teaching in your area of expertise.
Demonstrated ability to organise teaching and assessment activities to support student learning.
Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.
Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to team, school and wider University activities such as team and school meetings, strategic planning and program development.
