This role will involve supporting key retail, commercial and residential construction projects, performing various functions including estimating, planning and cost management, monitoring and reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen.
This role is available in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Newcastle, Geelong and Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with clients, architects and contractors
* Identify and facilitate new business opportunities
* Maste-plan and feasibility budgets
* Cost checking of developing design
* Value engineering
* Tender evaluations and analysis
* Contract negotiations
* Cash flow projections
* Procurement
* Cost reporting
* Evaluation of variations
* Valuations
* Final account reporting
* Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
* Investment analysis
* Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction
* Experience in cost estimating and planning software/ Cost X
