We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management team in the Alice Springs office. This role leads multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality, budget-conscious, and client-focused outcomes. It combines project leadership with office management responsibilities to shape the growth and success of our Northern Australia operations.
Location: Northern Australia – Alice Springs
Responsibilities
* Business Development & Client Engagement
o Develop and realise business opportunities for the Alice Springs office.
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
o Contribute to the Northern Australian business plan to ensure long-term viability.
* Project Leadership & Delivery
o Serve as Project Manager on a variety of projects.
o Oversee contract administration.
o Take accountability for technical excellence in all deliverables through team management.
o Coordinate project delivery with teams in Darwin and other offices.
* Office Management & Team Development
o Mentor and develop team members working in Central Australia, and others throughout the Northern Australian region and beyond as required.
o Ensure resources and support are in place to deliver quality service.
o Achieve financial targets for profitability, utilisation, and invoicing efficiency.
o Manage and mitigate project risks effectively.
What You Will Bring To The Team
* Proven experience in project management within engineering, infrastructure, or related sectors.
* Strong business development and client relationship skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire a small team while managing office operations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management (highly regarded).
* AIPM or similar registration (highly regarded).
* Be eligible and prepared to apply for a Defence Security Clearance (desirable).
