Overview
Fern Bay Motel is a busy 4 star property located in Fern Bay (near Stockton), and our sister property Merewether Motel is located 15 mins from Fern Bay. We are looking for a casual front of house receptionist who can primarily work at our Fern Bay property but also be willing to work at the Merewether property when needed. We require someone who is a great communicator, has an outgoing and friendly personality, who is punctual and reliable. This position will consist of approximately 15-20 hours per week. We operate on a 7 day week roster, a range of shifts available.
Responsibilities
* Checking guests in and out
* Answering the phone, taking reservations, answering emails
* Reconciling daily transactions, preparing tax invoices etc.
* Managing accounts
* Delivering and collecting room service
* Cooking breakfasts
* General cleaning and assisting housekeepers when required
* Any other duties to keep the motel clean and tidy
Requirements / Qualifications
* Current RSA is required
* Prior motel experience is preferable but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
* Strong communication and customer service skills; punctual and reliable
* Ability to work across Fern Bay and Merewether properties as needed
