As a senior investigator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the environmental governance and risk management landscape. Your work will have a direct impact on the communities we live in.
The Lead Investigator supervises an Investigator conducting intelligence-led investigations into environmental crime, utilising proactive and innovative techniques to target high-risk offenders and bring them to account.
You will collaborate with regional operations teams, Legal Branch, Data Analytics and Intelligence Unit, and other parts of the organisation to deliver strategic regulatory priorities.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary degree or qualifications in investigations, law, or a related discipline, and possess senior level experience in managing and conducting criminal investigations, as well as experience supervising other investigators.
Contemporary techniques for conduct of proactive and reactive investigations are essential for this role.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory, along with police checks, reference checks, and role-related security clearances.
