Role Overview
In this Cybersecurity Engineering & Advising role, you will design and execute cybersecurity test plans, uphold information security policies, manage vulnerabilities and risks, detect and analyse incidents, assess cryptographic implementations, prepare regulatory documentation, and support customers in strengthening their Operational Technology (OT) security practices. You will work closely with technical and business teams to deliver secure, high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Provide clear, tailored security recommendations across varied technical environments.
* Detect, analyse and qualify threats and incidents, identifying their sources.
* Guide users on secure behaviours and promote compliance with security requirements.
* Collaborate closely with customers, technical teams and business leaders.
* Use strong communication, diplomacy and persuasion to influence stakeholders.
* Apply advanced security principles to solve complex challenges.
* Support OT asset discovery, compliance checks and threat‑environment guidance.
* Stay updated on emerging risks, threats and countermeasures.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Cybersecurity, Cryptology or Control Systems advantageous).
* Familiarity with data analysis, data processing, IT and cybersecurity.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
* Team‑player attitude with experience supporting business and technical leaders.
* Clear, confident communication and strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of key cybersecurity standards (UN-R155, UN-R156, ISO 21434, ISO 27001, ISO 27005).
* Ability to assess environments and deliver specific, actionable recommendations.
* Strong programming foundations and understanding of advanced security concepts.
* Experience conducting cybersecurity risk analyses and knowledge of IT security law.
* Ability to work effectively with customers and technical teams.
* Curiosity and continuous learning regarding new risks and countermeasures.
* Nice to have: domain‑specific knowledge related to the product or project.
