We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team. You will have the opportunity to autonomously manage a temp controlled FDA and TGA approved warehouse and distribution facility receiving and dispatching products globally on a daily basis. A truly dynamic pharmaceutical purpose built facility for probiotics and health foods.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with a team, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of organisation.
Reporting to the Group Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead warehouse operations, oversee the warehouse team members, manage inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with TGA requirements, safety standards and quality systems.
Key outcomes of the role include:
* Plan capacity and layout, maintain warehouse facilities and equipment and drive efficiency, continuous improvement and cost reduction.
* Develop and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to ensure safe operations and compliance with quality systems and TGA requirements.
* Lead, coach and develop warehouse and despatch staff while planning daily and weekly activities and supporting performance retention.
* Manage the receipt, storage, and despatch of goods while ensuring inventory accuracy, documentation, and stock control.
* Maintain warehouse systems, records, and KPIs, using automated systems to monitor DIFOT, IRA and receiving targets.
* Manager purchase orders, warehouse budgets, consumables, equipment hire, freight spend and CHEP pallet accounts.
* Monitor waste and maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment to support operational efficiency.
* Promote safety, conduct inspections, maintain maintenance logs, support audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful, you will have:
* Previous experience in a warehouse management position – minimum 5 years.
* Experience operating safely and efficiently in a regulated environment including compliance with quality systems and TGA/ FDA requirements.
* Strong knowledge of modern warehousing and inventory practice.
* Working knowledge of warehousing management and distributing systems.
* Experience coaching, managing and training warehouse and despatch staff.
