As a Vocational Trainer at Bray Park State High School, you will plan, deliver, and assess nationally recognised training for senior secondary students across various Certificate II and III qualifications.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.83FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

About the Role
As a Vocational Trainer, you will plan, deliver, and assess nationally recognised training for senior secondary students in the following qualifications:
* Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation (5 hrs per week)
* Certificate II in Engineering Pathways (5 hrs per week)
* Certificate II in Furniture Making (5 hrs per week)
* Certificate II in Hospitality (5 hrs per week)
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (5 hrs per week)
Collaborate with school leadership and VET coordinators to provide authentic learning experiences that prepare students for employment or further training. Key responsibilities include:
* Design and deliver training programs aligned with relevant Training Packages and AQF standards.
* Assess student competency and maintain accurate records to ensure RTO compliance.
* Facilitate structured workplace learning and liaise with employers to support student placements.
* Monitor and maintain equipment and consumables used in practical training environments.
* Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.

Mandatory Requirements
The following qualifications and experience are required for this role:
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
* Qualifications to the level, or above, being delivered (e.g., Automotive, Engineering, Furniture Making, Hospitality, Early Childhood).
* Demonstrated relevant industry experience and currency.
