We are seeking a skilled professional to process and install engineered and natural stone benchtops.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and interpret blueprints and plans to determine dimensions, stone selection, and installation.
* Plan and prepare for installation, including clearing the area and erecting movable platforms to assist with installation.
* Seal stones with products to increase their durability.
* Cut, install, construct and polish (where applicable) stone, Dekton, marble, porcelain, ceramic, marble, etc. to the size of the required spaces (wall or floor) and in accordance to customer specifications using manual and industrial tools and machines.
* Repair and restore stones slabs, Dekton, marble, porcelain, ceramic, marble, etc. where needed.
* Finish stone surfaces for products such as kitchen benchtops and bathroom vanities using all necessary skills such as cutting, grinding, polishing and laminating using engineered and some natural stone products.
The ideal candidate will have formal qualification in stonemasonry or at least 2 years of experience in stonemasonry, a high attention to detail, be able to work autonomously and within a great work environment, and have natural problem-solving skills.
