Versa Cocktails are market leaders for quality and price across the RTD cocktail market. With a focus on quality, creativity and convenience, Versa aims to improve the way people enjoy their favourite mixed drinks. The Award-Winning products are available through Dan Murphy's stores, plus many leading independent retailers around the country.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our business and help the company expand. This is a part time position and must have access to your own car.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

* Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
* Maintain the existing business relationships
* Identify partnership opportunities
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs aligned with the strategic goals of the business
* Grow local region through discovering and prospecting new, high potential business partners that will drive brand equity and revenue
* Set strategy for market growth and customer targeting

About You

* Experience in a Business Development or Sales Representative role with a passion for sales, ideally within FMCG will be advantageous
* A self-starter motivated beyond specific position responsibilities
* Exceptional customer service skills with a commercial focus
* The ability to confidently communicate, influence and negotiate
* Good organisational and efficient time management skills
* Good Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to analyse business data and report outcome
* A current Australian drivers license and own vehicle

Attributes

* Experience in a sales role growing existing and driving new business
* A passion and understanding of the challenges facing the alcohol industry, preferably with some background within this sector
* An ability to manage and maintain strong relationships with customers
* Ability to build and deploy a strategic sales plan
* Unwavering focus with tangible results
* Proven track record in recognising and converting commercial opportunities

Compensation & Benefits

* Salary range dependent on experience: $35 - $40 per hour + uncapped commission + super
* Uncapped commission earning potential
* Monthly product allowance
* Flexible working hours
