Remuneration: $71,072.43 - $73,287.41 per annum super salary packaging Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Admin Officer Level 3 Location: Belmont and John Hunter Hospitals Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ629849 Applications Close: Sunday, 1st February 2026 Where You'll Be Working As the successful candidate, you will support two services, with one based at Lakeview Assessment and Triage Service – Belmont Hospital, and the other at John Hunter Hospital. You will become part of a supportive team who work collaboratively to ensure all needs and tasks are met. In light of this, you may be required to travel between the two locations as seen fit by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM). About The Role You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers safe and compassionate person-centred care to patients of both services, and essentially supporting the NUM through administrative duties. A typical day in this administration role will involve attending to the administration tasks for both services such as, operating duties in computer electronic systems (for example, CHIME), documentation of team meeting minutes and receiving and making calls in relation to appointments and waitlists. The Nurse Unit Manager will support you in this role, as well as fellow administration colleagues. Orientation will be provided once you commence and further professional development is supported as required. About You You will be patient and understanding, whilst having the ability to prioritise tasks to accommodate the changing needs of the services. You will have exceptional communication skills and use these to communicate relevant information effectively with members of the public and fellow colleagues on your team.
