Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-level triage, crisis, and clinical assessments to support the right place, right time, and right care principles.
* Supporting the reduction of emergency department waiting times, admissions, and early discharge through identification, negotiation, and initiation of alternative community-based supports.
* Promoting a positive working culture by developing effective partnerships and relationships with stakeholders, providing person-centred services that are high quality, sustainable, and responsive to ongoing quality improvement.

The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is expanding its team of clinicians. We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to provide specialist support to children, young people, and their families experiencing complex mental health concerns.
This role will involve working closely with emergency department staff, inpatient unit teams, other healthcare professionals, and community support organisations to provide treatment recommendations and specialist support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with clinical decision making, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans to facilitate a person-centred and recovery-focused approach.
