Class V Explosives Manager
* Prioritising resources to support the detailed planning for ADF capabilities logistics; which are currently expanding and accelerating.
* The lead for the management of Defence owned Port of Point Wilson for the importation and exportation of Class V explosive assets.
* The Contract Authority for governance and delivery of Explosive Ordnances Services providing industry support to the warehousing and distribution of Class V explosive inventory across Australia.
This role is broadly responsible for EOB’s established Class V explosives network including storage (Major Hazard Facilities), national distribution, ADF capability implementation planning, infrastructure sustainment and explosive limit licensing.
About Our Role
DLOG-EO plays a key part in Joint Logistics Command as a planning and delivery agent.
We manage the importation and exportation of Class V explosive assets. Additionally, we are responsible for warehousing and distributing the Class V explosive inventory across Australia. This involves delivering services that meet Defence's needs. As part of this, we implement plans for ADF capabilities and ensure the infrastructure used remains sustainable. We also work with Defence to obtain the required licenses to store and handle Class V explosive materials. The following responsibilities will give you a better understanding of what we do:

* Oversight of obtaining required permits and licenses for Class V explosives handling and storage.
