Concrete Creations & Excavation is hiring an experienced Concrete Foreman to manage crews, running small‑medium commercial projects from start to finish, maintaining our high standards whilst adhering to our company's core values – collaboration, precision, efficiency, innovation, continuous improvement, and hard work.
What You'll Be Doing/Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Crew Management
* Lead, mentor and motivate concreting crews
* Maintain productivity and keep crews organised
* Train developing team members and lift capability
* Uphold company values across all sites
Concrete Preparation & Delivery
* Oversee formwork, steel, cover, laps and reinforcement QA
* Confirm levels and tolerances using lasers / Leica equipment
* Run all pours from start to finish
* Manage finishing to achieve commercial‑grade results
* Ensure all prep work is clean, tight and pour‑ready
Quality & Compliance
* Complete pre‑pour ITPs & documentation
* Maintain site safety and SWMS compliance
* Keep working areas clean, safe and hazard‑free
* Minimise rework and maintain high quality
* Communicate clearly with builders and other trades
Scheduling & Coordination
* Coordinate material orders, pumps and delivery windows
* Work closely with the office manager and director on weekly scheduling
* Provide daily progress updates and identify issues early
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
* Identify bottlenecks and improve productivity
* Suggest practical innovations in workflow and equipment use
* Support a high‑performance team culture
Your role is to drive productivity, quality and team culture while ensuring every pour runs smoothly and to spec.
What You Need
* 7+ years concreting experience
* At least 3 years of experience leading crews
* Experience in all concreting with a recent focus on commercial
* Strong knowledge of levels, tolerances & finishing
* Ability to read plans and run a site confidently
* A strong attention to detail and awareness of critical items
* Strong communication & leadership skills
* A consistent and positive attitude
* White card and medium rigid drivers licence (at a minimum)
* Carpentry background or previous experience with Leica total stations is a bonus.
