Pacific Talent Partners has been exclusively retained to appoint an Account Executive for a high-growth disruptor within the Australian payments landscape.

This is a rare opportunity to join a premier fintech platform that is re-engineering how modern commerce transacts. Delivering high-performance solutions to a diverse merchant base, from agile SMBs to iconic national retailers, the company is currently at the inflection point of a major national expansion. This role is designed for a strategic hunter who seeks the autonomy of a startup environment backed by the stability of a market-leading product portfolio.

The Role:

The Account Executive will be the primary architect of market penetration. This is a dedicated new business hunter role focused on building a high-performing sales pipeline and fostering a robust referral partner network.

The successful candidate will lead from the front, balancing a relentless approach to securing a growing SMB base with the strategic runway to evolve into high-level enterprise account management. You will bridge the gap between high-volume prospecting and sophisticated, long-cycle corporate selling.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute Direct Prospecting: Conduct proactive outreach and cold-calling to identify and qualify new business opportunities within the Australian SMB market.
* Build Referral Ecosystems: Identify, recruit, and nurture a network of strategic referral partners to generate a consistent stream of inbound leads.
* Drive Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process from initial discovery and product demonstrations through to closing and contract execution.
* Exceed Growth Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly acquisition KPIs to rapidly expand the platform's footprint in the fintech space.

Core Competencies:

* New Business Hunting & Strategic Market Penetration: An agile hunter capable of executing a dual-track approach, balancing high-volume SMB acquisition with the developing skills for Tier 1 enterprise accounts.
* High-Velocity Sales & Referral Network Development: Adept at building high-performing pipelines and robust referral networks through accountants, ISVs, and consultants.
