**THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE**

Our client is a very professional Australian Financial Services License team at the top of the game. Located in the Western suburbs, on one side of the business they have stocking broking and ASX related things, and the other is corporate finance advisory which is governed by certain rules and regulations. They have extensive experience in equity capital markets and emerging companies. It's not a big operation, 8 people all up, and the office is pretty cruisy, but when it's peak time and the market is going crazy, you'll know about it, and when the market is on the quieter side, you'll be able to take some down time and enjoy the flexibility. It's the nature of the business. They work mainly on East Coast time and the hours will be earlier.

They're high performers, yet still easy going. They've got that whole 'work hard, play hard' kind of thing going on and we're looking for someone similar to join. We're talking lots of team bonding activities, lunches, functions, events and personal upskilling and training.

**WHAT'S INVOLVED?**

The aim of the game here is to take the workload from the Directors so they can focus on the business, and keep the office humming. You'll also be looking after the event side of things, but not to worry, there is already a well thought out, trialed and tested guide on how to pull these events off. They are quarterly and co-hosted with luxury brands, so they are on the higher end as far as events go. Here's what else is involved:

- Diary management including reminders for birthdays and anniversaries
- Managing client enquiries
- Picking up the phone when the Directors need assistance
- Keeping the whole office in check; stationery orders, kitchen supplies, making sure the contractors are ticking over
- Opening accounts, learning to understand the whole process (there's a cheat sheet, don't worry)
- Organising interstate travel, bookings, full itineraries for road shows, business events, investor dinners etc.
- General office administration and EA tasks

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?**

First and foremost, you'll need to be able to read the play and take initiative. It can be a fast-paced environment at times and having a thick skin is also required. Here's what else we're looking for:

- Sky high attention to detail (it's all about the dollar, dollar bills)
- The ability to troubleshoot and come back with your own solutions
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Energetic and eager
- Cool in a crisis
- The ability to shift priorities on the fly
- Planning and organising is your jam
- We'll say it again resilience
- Professional and polished
