AV Technician Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to provide technical support for local and virtual events in all of our client's event spaces.
The role involves operating specific event technology, providing webcasts, video conferencing, and show-calling services. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating customer-provided infrastructure, equipment, and applications in designated live event and meeting rooms, ensuring operational availability of assigned event spaces through regular equipment checks, performing L1/L2 incident management, and escalating to the technical manager for L3 incident management when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Technical understanding of digital and analogue audio and video signal processing standards and protocols.
* Familiarity with audiovisual engineering disciplines associated with complex environments such as auditoriums, meeting rooms, and flexible presentation spaces.
* Industry experience in areas related to live event production.
* Knowledge of Zoom and Teams.
Infocomm CTS certification is preferred but not required.
