The Opportunity
Full-Time Maintenance Officer
Aged Care premises
This role suits a practical, self-sufficient Maintenance Officer who takes ownership of keeping facilities safe, functional, and presentable. The position supports residents by ensuring buildings, grounds and shared spaces are consistently maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance and repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building tasks
* Maintain gardens and outdoor areas through mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing, and general grounds upkeep
* Complete scheduled preventative maintenance in line with site plans
* Respond to unplanned and reactive maintenance requests across assigned areas
* Oversee maintenance activities to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met
* Actively support and follow Work Health and Safety practices
What You Bring

* Basic to intermediate skills using mobile devices, laptops, and desktop systems
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Previous maintenance experience in aged care or retirement living environments preferred

* Trade qualification desirable but not essential
