Located in the charming coastal town of Port Macquarie, our Centre is just minutes from public transport, the beach, the town centre, and local services.We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse on Permanent Part-time at our Bethany Aged Care Centre in Port Macquarie NSW 2444, who will provide clinical leadership in delivering individualised care to residents, enhancing their health and spiritual well-being.It would be great if you were flexible and able to work various shifts, e.g., morning, afternoon, night, weekend, public holiday.About The RoleAs a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical supervision and be responsible for coordinating the delivery of safe, effective, and individualised care to residents and their families, including managing staff and resources, and assisting residents to lead active, meaningful, and independent lives in line with The Salvation Army's Mission, Vision, and Values.In this role, you will:Complete documentation in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating residents' care needs.Maintain clinical records and documentation to ensure legal compliance and meet AN-ACC requirements.Manage medication ordering, administration, and documentation according to policy and procedures.Comply with relevant legislation, e.g., Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1996.Coordinate with doctors and health professionals regarding medication and treatment administration.Prepare reports, Care Plans, and other necessary documentation.About YouTo be considered, you should have:An understanding and appreciation of The Salvation Army's values and ethos.Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.Experience in aged care, teamwork, and leadership in aged care settings.Knowledge of continuous quality improvement processes.Experience developing care plans and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC.Organisational and time management skills.Proficiency in computer and documentation skills.National NDIS worker screening check.BenefitsRegistered Nurses at The Salvation Army Aged Care enjoy:Above Award wages + Super + allowances & shift penaltiesComprehensive graduate program with flexible entrySalary packaging benefits up to $15,900/year (also for casuals)Meal and entertainment benefits up to $2,650 through salary packagingRelocation benefits via salary packagingUp to six weeks annual leave for RNs, with flexible shifts to support work-life balanceNo rotating rostersPaid parental leaveNovated car leasingLearning and development opportunitiesSupported study optionsEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer progression into management and quality rolesTransfer opportunities across AustraliaContributing to a socially and environmentally impactful organizationTo apply, click the 'Apply' button below to access our online application.
