The role of Mechanical Maintenance Fitter is a critical component of our operations.
Key responsibilities include investigating, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing on-site equipment while ensuring compliance with engineering best practices.
Achieving these objectives involves promptly reporting any defects or breakdowns and providing feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor.
* Inspect equipment according to our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Work collaboratively within a team and independently without direct supervision
* Maintain adherence to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and quality policies and procedures
* Effectively utilize strong written and verbal communication skills and time management techniques
Requirements
A minimum of two years post-apprenticeship experience is required, along with previous experience in the Food Processing Industry specifically related to installation, operation, service, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment.
Candidates should possess proficiency in resolving operational or technical issues related to equipment problems, minimizing interruptions due to equipment breakdowns.
