Senior Tester
Location: Perth (first preference), Sydney and Melbourne (second preference)
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in testing software, including design, execution, and defect management.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in software testing, including design, execution and defect management.
* Demonstrated technical knowledge and analytical skills in a senior testing role.
* Strong understanding of principles and practices associated with IT project testing.
* Experience developing test strategies and plans and executing them successfully.
* Experience leading IT projects and estimating and scheduling.
* Experience engaging with Business Analysts, Product Owners and Developers to analyse requirements and understand complex systems.
* Experience in power system/power market operation or power system planning preferred.
* Understanding of the WA Govt's Energy Transformation Strategy (ETS) and proposed WEM Reforms preferred.
* Excellent understanding of delivering enterprise applications.
* Experience developing user documentation and process maps.
* High proficiency with SQL and testing web based/client-server applications, APIs and data migration.
* Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright and Postman.
* Experience with test automation using C# and source control tools.
* Experience with test management tools such as Jira and PractiTest.
* Excellent stakeholder relations capabilities with ability to form strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
