The youth editor will be in charge of curating content that is highly relevant to Australian youth in collaboration with News.com.au's editor, head of social media and head of growth.
The workload will include identifying the most interesting topics of the moment among young Australians and engaging them with the associated content spread over all existing platforms.
The ideal candidate must have prior journalism experience, including newsroom operations.
They should be capable of running new projects and content strategies designed for target markets and can deliver within tight deadlines.
Experience in a youth-oriented content portal or publication is highly considered.
