We are seeking an experienced professional who has proven experience of leading research and evaluation - planning and conducting evidence reviews/case studies that will be used in the delivery of key decision-making and policy.
Your New Role
The Assistant Director will be a leadership position where you will be responsible for delivering, supporting, planning, and conducting all evidence reviews within your group aimed at delivering the best recommendation and practice.
* Leading, researching and identifying insights contributing towards agency's understanding of information.
* Conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
* Overseeing, creating, and documenting current state service through design and research, identifying current participant and staff experience and business processes.
* Leading and managing process design improvement, including evaluating proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level.
* Advocating for the voice and experience of participants and stakeholders through work processes.
* Leading and facilitating design-thinking sessions with service users, designing, and testing future experiences.
* Applying in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the agency and the related impacts across work areas.
* Overseeing end-to-end service experiences, ensuring changes are based on participant and staff needs and are consistent for all users across different touchpoints.
* Experience with digital design tools, such as Miro, Figma, Creately, Mural
Logistic Information
* 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanency
* Competitive daily pay rate of $602.55 per day + super
* Hybrid or remote working arrangements
* Australian citizenship required
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Proficiency in visual design principles to create aesthetically pleasing designs
* Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
* Familiarity with agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban
* Preferable to have prior knowledge and experience in disability, social services or public sector
* Demonstrated experience with Jira, Sharepoint, MS Suite, and Qualtrics (or comparable design tools i.e. Dovetail, Condens)
* Experience developing research into tangible insights
