The purpose of the Quality Assurance Technician is to develop and manage the quality systems and culture within the manufacturing business unit. You will be a natural influencer with the ability to lead the quality and food safety agenda ensuring compliance to all regulatory, customer and company requirements.
**Key responsibilities**
- Coaching, training and auditing of operating staff in the quality team including standard checking and some calibration of equipment
- Manage the Supplier Non Conformance Reporting system and drive continuous improvement with the raw material suppliers
- Manages QC Hold program for manufacturing.
- Investigate, report and implement corrective actions for consumer and customer complaints
- Providing advice, support and information to ensure effective delivery of our quality KPI's
- Monitor the inputs and outputs within the manufacturing process to ensure process capability and conformance to national specifications
- Support site internal audit and external audit programs by maintaining compliance to site, national and customer requirements for quality.
**About You**
As a key member of the Quality Team, your resume will ideally demonstrate prior experience in Quality roles within a FMCG / Food manufacturing environment.
In addition, you will possess:
- A demonstrated passion for quality through prior study and/or experience in a related discipline
- An ability to manage change and influence others
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed Project Management skills
- Excellent relationship management ability
