About the opportunity My client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee production, warehouse, quality, supply chain and continuous improvement functions. Based in Sydney, with frequent travel to Western Australia, the role will lead day-to-day operations while also helping shape the next stage of the business as the Perth manufacturing facility comes online. This is a dynamic opportunity suited to candidates looking for scope, impact and a defined three-to-five-year growth trajectory as the role and business continue to expand. In this role, you will: Improve cycle times, output per labour hour, and process flow Deliver budget outcomes and reduce controllable operating costs Lead an accountable operations team across multiple functions Improve alignment with sales, finance and HR Optimise labour, equipment and material utilisation About you You will be an operational leader with proven experience in manufacturing environments where pace, accountability and commercial outcomes are critical. You will be comfortable leading through change, making decisions with autonomy, and balancing day-to-day plant operations with longer-term improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A bachelor's degree in business or mechanical Sound business acumen and solutions-oriented Operations or continuous improvement certification, such as Lean Six Sigma Budget ownership, cost control, KPI reporting, and experience of running a P&L Experience improving plant performance, facilities and equipment Experience working with sales, finance, HR, suppliers and customers Sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance and ISO quality environments Strong capability in Microsoft Office, project management and process improvement methods What's on offer This is an opportunity to take ownership of a national operations remit at a time of growth, site development and process uplift.
