About Powa Beam
Powa Beam is a long‑standing Australian manufacturer & distributor known for rugged spotlights, hunting gear and general outdoors gear trusted by farmers, shooters and rural retailers for over 50 years. We’re growing our product range and strengthening our dealer network, and we’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable talking gear in a country store as they are analysing sales trends & chatting on the phone back at the office.
About the Market
You’ll be working retailers across the outdoor, hunting, fishing, rural supply and 4x4 accessory sectors. Our customers range from small country stores to national buying groups, all relying on durable, Australian‑built lighting and outdoors gear that stand up to real‑world use.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Building strong relationships with retailers through regular calls and in‑person store visits
* Driving sales growth, chasing new opportunities and supporting key accounts
* Training in house staff and customers on new and existing products
* Attending trade shows, field days and retail events
* Helping customers with product enquiries and warranty questions
* Testing products and working with internal teams on improvements and new ideas
* Keeping an eye on market trends, competitor activity and pricing
* Preparing sales reports and sharing insights with the team
* Assisting with marketing materials and website updates
What We’re Looking For
* Confident communicator who enjoys talking gear with real users
* Comfortable travelling to retail stores and industry events
* Interest in outdoor, hunting, rural or 4x4 products
* Organised, proactive and keen to learn the technical side of our range
* Competent with computer systems, data analysis & reporting
* Able to build long‑term relationships and represent the Powa Beam brand well
