This role of Finance Reporting Accountant is to lead automation of financial and project reporting within ERP IFS aligned to the requirements of the Cost Control team, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting processes. Support governance compliance by embedding controls and assisting with reporting obligations to oversight bodies. Drive continuous improvement and data integrity across reporting workflows.

What's Involved
* Design, develop, and implement automated reporting solutions in ERP IFS for cost control and project financials.
* Collaborate with Cost Control team to ensure reporting meets operational and strategic needs.
* Integrate governance requirements into reporting processes, including approval workflows and audit trails.
* Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies in ERP IFS reporting outputs.
* Provide training and support to finance and project teams on automated reporting tools and best practices.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation beyond existing ERP capabilities.
* Ensure compliance with SSA policies, financial standards, and governance frameworks.
* Coordinate with IT and ERP specialists for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
* Assist in month end processes.
You'll Need
Essential
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
* Demonstrated strong understanding of project accounting principles
* Highly developed Communicate skills to effectively communicate with all stake holders
* Demonstrated capability to train and mentor team members in the effective use of ERP reporting tools and industry best practices.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
* Experience in ERP reporting automation and cost control processes.
* Strong understanding of financial governance and compliance requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Power BI knowledge
Desirable
* Experience in public sector governance frameworks and reporting obligations.
* Knowledge of project accounting and cost control methodologies.
* Accuracy and timeliness of automated reports delivered to stakeholders.
* Reduction in manual reporting processes through automation.
* Compliance with governance reporting requirements and deadlines.
