About Us
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region. The Regional and Specialist team includes Integrated Specialist Services, Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, Primary Healthcare Services, Birthing and Early Childhood Services (South), and Child and Youth Services. Our purpose is to connect, guide, and empower teams and communities through culturally safe, transparent, and responsive ways.
About the Role
The Administration Officer – Dental Laboratory is responsible for the efficient operation of the dental laboratory, ensuring smooth workflow, managing administrative tasks, and coordinating with dentists, technicians, and external vendors. This role exists to streamline lab processes, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and support the dental team in delivering high‐quality dental restorations and appliances.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily lab activities to ensure timely delivery of dental prosthetics and appliances.
* Maintain accurate records of lab cases, orders, and job completion.
* Ensure all lab equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
* Handle invoicing, payments, and documentation as required.
* Maintain supplier relationships and manage stock levels of materials and equipment.
* Maintain infection control and sterilisation protocols.
Qualifications
* Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
* Current Criminal History Check
* Current Working with Children's Check (QLD Blue Card)
Desirable, but not mandatory
* Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities
