Talent Pool Managers are responsible for leading high-level operational direction in correctional centres, coordinating purposeful day-to-day activities and ensuring staff discipline.
Key objectives include delivering professional correctional services to reduce re-offending and enhance public safety. Talent Pool Managers work closely with teams across the organization to achieve these goals.
The role involves:
* Leading direct special projects or specialized services within Correctional Services NSW;
* Maintaining confidentiality and utilizing proven leadership experience and knowledge to meet demands of the role;
Talent Pool Managers play a key part in continuing professional development senior staff holding rank Manager of Security, as part of strategy that includes application of Section 10.4 Crown Employees Custodial Executive Rank Officer DCJ Corrective Services NSW Award.
The role requires rotation of Managers Security through different locations and grades within the organization after a period of three years.
