Position Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Cloud Engineers to join a high‐performing enterprise technology environment delivering critical cloud and infrastructure capabilities across hybrid and multi‐cloud platforms. This role will see you working within a large‐scale engineering team responsible for designing, building, securing, and optimising modern cloud environments that support complex digital transformation initiatives.
You will operate as a senior technical specialist, contributing hands‐on expertise across cloud platform engineering, automation, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and secure workload migration activities. The position offers the opportunity to work on enterprise‐scale cloud platforms using leading technologies across Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and modern automation toolsets.
Key Duties
* Design, build, and support enterprise cloud platforms and landing zones
* Deliver hybrid and multi‐cloud engineering solutions across secure environments
* Support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives including re‐platforming and cloud‐native transformation
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation
* Engineer and optimise CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines with embedded security and compliance controls
* Implement and support Kubernetes, containerised, and serverless platforms
* Design and troubleshoot secure cloud networking solutions including VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, DNS, and routing
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and engineering guidance to project and operational teams
* Contribute to security‐by‐design outcomes aligned to government security frameworks and compliance requirements
* Drive automation, standardisation, resilience, and operational uplift across cloud environments
Skills and Experience Required
* Demonstrated hands‐on experience delivering enterprise‐scale cloud engineering solutions
* Strong experience across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP cloud environments
* Proven expertise in hybrid and multi‐cloud architecture and integration
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
* Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security principles
* Experience working with Kubernetes, container platforms, and serverless technologies
* Strong networking knowledge across cloud and hybrid environments
* Ability to operate as a senior technical SME within complex and highly regulated environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Relevant industry certifications highly regarded, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, or FinOps certifications
