Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Renewable Energy Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in the award-winning Mudgee Region. This is a 2-year fixed term contract, based on site.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in road, drainage, and structural design, as well as development assessments within the NSW local government context. They should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, including developers, and neighboring councils.
1. Lead the review of civil infrastructure designs across the region, including roads, drainage, intersections, and related structures.
2. Assess pre-approval documents for State Significant Developments within the MWRC area, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
3. Review post-approval documents such as Transport Management Plans and Road Maintenance Plans to ensure adherence to approval conditions.
4. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and community expectations.
5. Conduct site inspections to verify infrastructure upgrades required under infrastructure agreements.
6. Provide expert technical advice to guide planning and infrastructure agreements.
