Rotating Equipment Lead Job Description
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Develop engineering design strategies for rotating equipment, including monitoring systems and life extension plans, to optimize processes in the OLNG project based on best practices, safety standards, and company targets.
* Ensure FEED design outputs meet company requirements and maintain confidentiality of intellectual property.
* Evaluate best practices in engineering and process optimization for rotating equipment, recommend technology advancements during design and equipment selection, and manage changes within the project to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
* Contribute to risk assessments for OLNG facilities and review equipment specifications, data sheets, RFQs, and technical bid evaluations to ensure performance compliance.
* Coordinate work programs and budgets for rotating equipment engineering, manage approval processes with headquarters, management, and partners to ensure timely approvals and cost recovery.
* Review and approve project specifications, provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with project objectives and plans.
Qualification Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in upstream Oil and Gas industry; LNG plant civil engineering experience is advantageous.
