The Diabetes team at Fairfield Hospital are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, and personable Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their expert team. This role requires someone who can interact with others in a highly professional and personable manner. You will be a critical thinker who facilitates evidence-based practice by working collaboratively with the Diabetes Nursing team to provide expert clinical advice to patients, carers, and other health care professionals.
We are looking for someone who is a true leader and can become a person of influence in their role. The role requires someone with strong negotiation skills and who can drive change in the facility. You will bring your expert knowledge on Diabetes to the role and be ready to grow and develop the service through sharing your expertise with the team.
Collaboration is at the forefront of this role and you will be able to form professional working relationships with NUMS, Education providers, students and the wider team.
What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership, facilitates evidence-based practice. The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research, and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes.

How To Apply
- Do you currently hold Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, relevant post-registration qualification, and at least 5 years full-time equivalent experience? Please attach a copy of your AHPRA registration and associated qualifications with your application.
