We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cheese & Wine Enthusiast to join our team as Assistant Manager at The Smelly Cheese Shop in the Adelaide Central Market.
About Us
The Smelly Cheese Shop is an iconic specialty cheese retail store providing the world's finest cheese to the Australian market via retail and online, as well as educational experiences locally, nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and direct day-to-day sales activities of the team in our Central Market retail store.
2. Establish and maintain customer partnerships and be ambassadors for this iconic SA brand.
3. Successfully manage the Adelaide Central Market store and associated events.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a food &/or beverage related environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience with wine list management is desired.
* Ability to analyse sales performance to identify insight and opportunity.
* Ability to manage stock levels, always ensuring quality targets are met.
* Experience in leading/mentoring a team.
* Energetic, positive and motivated disposition.
* RSA Certificate.
