The Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to support our electrical teams across major project sites in Wollongong and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical industry and work alongside experienced electricians on high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist qualified electricians with day-to-day electrical installation and construction activities
· Cable pulling, tray and conduit installation under supervision
· Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for works
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
· Assist with deliveries, loading and unloading of materials
· Follow all site safety procedures, SWMS, and company policies
About You
· Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or labourer in construction or electrical works (preferred)
· Strong safety awareness and a proactive attitude
· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
· Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
· Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
Essential Requirements
· White Card (Construction Induction)
· Current Driver's Licence (preferred)
· Ability to pass site-specific inductions and medical requirements
