Position Overview
The Head of Business Development Manager leads a team of National Business Development Managers working across Australia and New Zealand. The team drives business development and market growth in key focus segments: Corporate Office, Real Estate Investment trusts, Education, Health and Aged care, Hospitality, and Retail.
This role supports the frontline sales team in their interactions with key influencers within those segments. It also develops and executes sales strategies to maximize Interface's market presence and capitalize on opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive team to deliver KPIs – Sales Revenue and Margin targets
2. Day-to-day people management
3. Setting strategic direction
4. Liaison with Marketing to support target market segment approaches
5. Direct responsibility for emerging markets – Build to Rent or Retail
6. Developing strong relationships with end users or key players within target segments
7. Setting strategic direction with Inzide
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. 10 years sales team leadership experience
2. Business development experience
3. Knowledge of property markets, construction industry, education, or healthcare is an advantage
4. Proficiency in Microsoft products – Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
5. Experience using CRM – Salesforce
6. Team leadership/ performance management experience
7. Excellent communication & negotiation skills
8. Commercial acumen, market insight, and project management skills
