ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.
We are seeking a Cook / Chef to join our team at Kapooka (Wagga Wagga). This full-time role is ideal for candidates with kitchen or catering experience looking for a stable role with career pathways.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare meals in a bulk cooking environment
* Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
* Assist with stock control and kitchen operations
* Ensure quality, portion control and presentation
* Support team during busy service periods
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Certificate III or relevant cooking experience
* Experience in commercial kitchens or catering
* Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Reliable with a team focused approach
