Critical Role in Project Delivery: Cost Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Controller to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
As a Cost Controller, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-level support to the Project Manager in managing project costs and ensuring that all expenses are properly tracked and recorded. You will also be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project delivery documentation, including estimate at completion cost sheets and project files.
Our ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years' experience in financial management, with a strong background in project controls and budgeting. You will possess excellent technical writing skills, with experience in proposal writing and technical reporting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will need to collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you will be proactive, resourceful, and able to demonstrate initiative and decision-making skills. Experience working in the mining sector or an engineering consultancy is highly regarded but not essential.
