Key Responsibilities
* Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring reporting deadlines and statutory requirements are met.
* Consolidate, review, and analyse results across multiple business units to present clear insights to senior management.
* Perform detailed financial analysis, benchmarking, and trend interpretation across the group's global entities.
* Collaborate with international finance teams to resolve accounting issues and support best-practice application.
* Enhance financial literacy and support development of finance capability across global teams.
* Guide teams in applying accounting standards and improve group-wide financial processes.
* Manage internal and external audit engagements.
* Deliver ad-hoc projects to support the overall objectives of the group.
* Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team.
* Support leadership teams in achieving broader business strategies.
* Play a key role in implementing new accounting systems.
* Assist with M&A activities, including integration of newly acquired entities.
* Develop and enhance accounting policies and procedures.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in business finance, accounting, or audit (audit experience advantageous).
* CA or CPA qualified.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
* Advanced Excel skills; high proficiency essential.
* Strong working knowledge of IFRS and accounting best practices.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with local and international stakeholders.
