About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Operations Manager to join the Rogers Hotel Group. In this full-time role based in Newcastle, NSW, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our diverse portfolio of hospitality establishments. Your strategic leadership will be crucial in driving efficiency, profitability and exceptional customer service across our hotel properties.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing operational oversight and support to General Managers across our hotel portfolio
2. Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures and standards to optimise performance
3. Analysing financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
4. Overseeing the recruitment, training and development of hotel staff
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
6. Fostering a positive and collaborative culture that aligns with the company's values
7. Representing the Group at industry events and building strategic partnerships
What we're looking for
1. Significant experience (8+ years) in a senior operations management role within the hospitality industry
2. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and profitability in a multi-site environment
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
4. Strong financial acumen and data analysis capabilities
5. Ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
6. Relevant qualifications to be able to hold a hotel license if required
7. Thorough understanding of hospitality regulations, compliance and best practices
