We are urgently seeking a Trade Assistant for work with a highly reputable business located in Carole Park. The role will be a casual to permanent assignment you will be responsible for general assistance to the fabrication team with experience assisting Boilermakers and Fabricators preferred. The position has full time hours, day shift Monday to Friday with early finish on Friday hourly rate starting at $40 per hour. Start asap.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
* Current Forklift Licence and experience required, side loader experience desirable
* Reasonable physical fitness and experience manual handling and use of power tools
* Organised with excellent communication skills
* Be dedicated to safe working practice and have a positive and team focused attitude.
* Two contactable work referees
* Availability to start asap
What you will be doing as a Fabrication Trades Assistant:
* Review workorders ensure materials are available and pre picked and delivered to bay
* Strap and move fabricated work to pre-gal storage
* Use of counterbalance and side loader forklifts to transfer products from factory to yard as required
* Cutting, grinding and deburring of poles and doors
* Labelling stamping and engraving of components
* General labouring and assisting fabricators.
