Overview
Essendon Football Club is seeking a highly skilled AFL Sports Dietitian to join our High Performance team. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the health, performance, and recovery of our AFL listed players.
Responsibilities
- Deliver world-leading, evidence-based nutrition support.
- Design tailored nutrition and supplement plans that drive on-field performance.
- Provide education, food service, and meal planning across training, travel, and game day.
- Monitor hydration, body composition, and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with medical and strength & conditioning staff to optimise every player’s performance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Nutrition & Masters of Dietetics (APD + SDA accreditation essential).
- ISAK Level 1 (or will be required to obtain within six months)
- Proven experience in elite sport (AFL preferred).
- Knowledge of anti-doping compliance and supplement safety.
- Demonstrable track record in improving athlete performance through sports nutrition practices.
