We're looking for a
hands-on Machine Operators
to join a busy
plastic recycling facility
in
Mordialloc
. You'll be part of a team that's keeping things moving, keeping quality high, and even helping the environment at the same time.
What You'll Be Doing
Running and monitoring machinery to keep production flowing smoothly
Doing basic maintenance and troubleshooting – a little problem-solving never hurt anyone
Making sure all products meet quality standards (no dodgy batches allowed)
Keeping your workspace clean, safe, and organised – because no one likes clutter
Following safety protocols to the letter (safety first, always)
Helping the team improve efficiency and reduce waste
Occasionally getting involved in team projects or process improvements
Basically, if you like a mix of
hands-on work, problem-solving, and teamwork
, this role will keep you busy and engaged every day.
What We're Looking For
A valid forklift licence (mandatory)
Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, recycling or production environment
A mechanical mindset – you can spot issues before they become big problems
Good attention to detail and safety awareness
Someone reliable, team-oriented, and happy to learn new skills
Bonus points if you like working in a fast-paced environment and don't mind a little friendly banter with your crew
Pay & Hours
Day Shift:
$*****/hr (6AM - 2PM)
Afternoon Shift:
$*****/hr (2PM - 10PM)
Night Shift
: $*****/hr (10PM - 6AM)
?? Note: From sometime next year shifts will move to 12-hour rotations (6PM - 6AM)
