ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a genuine career opportunity for a driven, professional People and Culture Advisor to join our team based on in either Melbourne or Geelong. You will provide day to day coaching and support to our dynamic and successful Lake Imaging and Capital Radiology groups, which incorporates 50+ sites across metro and regional VIC.

Reporting to the State P&C Manager (VIC, SA, TAS) who leads our southern states P&C team and consists of an additional Advisor as well as broader supporting Talent Acquisition and P&C Administrative partners, you will also work closely with the local VIC operational team. You will be supporting multiple radiology site s as well as contributing to the strategic P&C initiatives and projects. You will formulate partnerships to deliver value added service to both management and employees that reflect the business objectives and share in the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery.

Advising your own client group as well as participating in IDX group strategic projects, this great role offers work within corporate and professional health care environment to truly make a difference.

This is a genuine HR role, with no payroll and no OHS!

‍ A Day in the Life

* Investigate and conduct meetings for incidents and P&C issues
* Active involvement in People Meetings with VIC leadership team
* Management of Workcover claims
* General P&C admin including reporting on a variety of matters (Strong utilisation of Microsoft Office suite and additional online reporting tools)
* Participate in recruitment selection
* Culture engagement activities to continue to grow and foster culture
* Coaching of leaders
* Culture engagement
* Wellbeing activities facilities at local level
* Be mentored in Industrial and Employee Relations matters by P&C Manager

‍♀️ About You

* A passion for healthcare where you hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources (HR).
* Demonstrated experience (min 5 years) as a generalist in a P&C Advisor role or similar
* Experience within a P&C team (minimum of 5 years exposure).
* Knowledge, and application, of employee relations matters within both Federal and State Industrial Relations legislation and contemporary HR practices.
* Demonstrated ability to coach and develop strong, positive working relationships with organisational leaders.
* Experience in the review, analysis and development of HR policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate accuracy, consistency exercise good judgement and handle matters confidently, courteously and discretely.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
* Organised, proactive, efficient, and have a positive approach.
* Ability to take initiative and champion continuous improvement.
* Experience in HCM, preferable Sage and/or Workday.
