We have been selected as preferred proponent to deliver two major packages for the Cross River Rail Projects: the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package and the Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) package. The RIS package is crucial to the overall delivery and success of Cross River Rail, and its integration with the Queensland Rail network. RIS will be delivered by the UNITY Alliance which brings together CPB Contractors, UGL, AECOM and Jacobs, along with partners HASSEL, RCS Australia, Acmena, Martinus Rail and WIRED Overhead Solutions, to deliver the full scope of works over the next five years. This includes:
1. Rail civil and electrical works
2. Brownfield rail surface works primarily to the north of the tunnel, including an upgrade of Exhibition Station and a major augmentation of Mayne Yard
3. Upgrade of seven suburban stations to the south
4. Rail operational systems works
5. Rail signalling works and communication, and integration and commission activities.
Your Opportunity
As a Senior Site Administrator, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Finance and Administration team to ensure UNITY Alliance is supported through management of incoming accounts payable and other finance items.
You will be accountable for:
1. Reviewing requisitions and raising of purchase orders in JDEdwards
2. Accurate and timely data entry and matching of supplier dockets in Rover
3. Management of allocated suppliers / subcontractor payment claims
4. Management of some site admin staff
5. Processing of invoices and support documents for supplier and subcontractors claims in JDEdwards
6. Preparation of data for End of Month requirements
7. Ensure payments are made according to project and statutory requirements
8. Assist with preparation of audit requirements
9. Advising sub-contractors, managers, and engineers of administrative requirements of the Alliance and CPB
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
1. 5+ years' experience in an Administration role within the Finance department on a large construction or mining project
2. Availability to work site hours 7.30am – 5pm
3. Advanced Microsoft Skills
4. Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with confidence
5. Strong level written and verbal communication
6. Possess a proven ability to successfully communicate and influence across all levels of the organisation
