About the role
Are you a visual storyteller who thrives on turning complex ideas into compelling, accessible, and beautifully crafted creative? Inland Rail is looking for a
multidisciplinary Visual Designer
to join our Brand and Creative team and help shape how Australia sees one of the nation's most transformational infrastructure projects.
In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will create high‑quality content across
print, digital, video, animation, illustration, and visualisation
- designing work that informs, inspires, and connects with diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Create visually striking content across print, digital, animation, video, and illustration - always aligned with brand identity and tone.
* Transform complex information into clear, engaging designs, including infographics, motion graphics, visualisations, and multimedia content.
* Deliver end‑to‑end creative for campaigns across multiple platforms, from concept to final production.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and translate briefs into polished creative assets.
* Manage your workflow through structured platforms (e.g. ) to ensure smooth, timely delivery.
* Leverage AI‑approved design tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative quality and efficiency.
* Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously elevate your craft.
* Contribute positively to team culture by sharing ideas, supporting others, and helping foster a collaborative, inclusive environment.
About you
If you're ready to create meaningful work that reaches audiences across Australia, we'd love to see your portfolio.
To be successful, you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic/Digital Design (or equivalent experience).
* Strong portfolio showcasing work across print, digital, animation, motion, and video.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Canva.
* Skilled in animation/motion graphics and video editing for various channels.
* Demonstrated ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging visual content.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Comfortable working independently and within a fast‑paced team environment.
* Proficient in a Windows‑based environment.
