Sales Assistant
Permanent Full-Time Opportunity | Canberra Location | From $60,000 per annum plus superannuation
OVERVIEW
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Sales Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the sales team team, you will cultivate and nurture client relationships through various administrative support duties to drive sales and business outcomes. You will directly support a Sales Executive through the below duties.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in generating leads and identifying potential clients in need of digital forensic tools, services, and training.
* Respond to inquiries from prospective clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
* Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and support sales presentations and proposals.
* Coordinate with technical staff to gather information and provide accurate estimates for services.
* Maintain client records and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
* Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and changes in digital forensic technology.
* Assist with marketing efforts, including social media updates, website content, and promotional materials.
* Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably in the digital forensic or technology sector.
* Knowledge of digital forensic principles, tools, and methodologies is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, criminal justice) preferred, but not required.
* History of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business growth.
* Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and oversee sales activities.
