About the team & the role:
The Bank is amid an enterprise-wide transformation, and as part of this, Operational Enablement, Process Improvement is seeking to leverage Automation Technologies to drive efficiency gains, deliver simplified and improved customer experiences, improve risk profiles, and ultimately increase financial contribution to the enterprise.
The Process Improvement Team is critical in identifying opportunities to simplify and improve processes across the enterprise. The team is responsible for identifying opportunities for efficiency gains through observation and statistical analysis, prioritizing and sequencing for quick and effective delivery, working with stakeholders to determine the best "bang for buck."
As an Appian BPM developer, you will design, develop, and implement solutions with a focus on leveraging automation using RPA and systems integration via API. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll analyze processes to design and deliver scalable automation solutions to streamline business operations. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, maintaining existing bots, and optimizing their performance to ensure seamless operation.
In this role, you will:
* Work with an enthusiastic team and contribute to developing automated solution designs.
* Leverage automation capabilities such as RPA, API, and Appian BPM to deliver solutions that drive efficiency gains and add value to the Bendigo group.
* Promote and encourage teamwork and continuous improvement across Operation Enablement workstreams.
* Assess the requirements of existing applications and implement changes as required, in line with the Operation Enablement strategy.
We are hiring Appian BPM developers based in any of our Head Office locations. This is a 12-month fixed-term role. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, including a hybrid model of two days in a local office per week.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 2+ years of experience developing automation solutions in medium to large enterprise environments.
* Proficiency in designing and developing Appian BPM solutions.
* Strong understanding of business analytics or process improvement experience.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with SQL databases is a plus.
* Understanding of AI and NLU models is considered a plus.
* Experience with integrating APIs in automation is advantageous.
* Experience with utilizing Appian BPM and its RPA capabilities is highly desirable.
